Volume Control Damper Round/ Rectangular

A Volume Control Damper (VCD) is a device widely used in heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems to regulate and maintain the air volume within a duct. These dampers facilitate the balancing of airflow to individual zones and rooms during system testing and commissioning. The damper blades may be of the parallel or opposed type, selected based on specific application requirements.

Description

Volume control dampers can be mounted in either a horizontal or vertical orientation. It is critical, however, to install the damper with its blades oriented in the direction of the desired airflow to ensure optimal performance and control.
