MODEL: DPHL-13H
DASCO's penthouse louvers DPHL - 13H are considered as typical louver units for both air intake and exhaust applications. They are designed and built to become a permanent part of the building. They maintain their pleasant appearance and effective weather protection as a result of their rugged, durable, extruded aluminium construction and careful workmanship. They are usually furnished with either mullion or mitered corners and incorporate the normal DASCO's fresh air louver blades DFL-11H as standard. However, any other type of DASCO's louver blades can also be used as optional.
DPHL - 13H penthouse louvers have as a standard 2” deep fixed horizontal blades. The blades are carefully designed to get low pressure drop, maximum free area and to prevent rain-water penetration. They are available in 1.25” flanged frame and are built and mounted to an internal framing with mullion corners. The integral framing mullion structures are furnished with a standard 1.6” x 1.6” extruded aluminium profiles. For the other mitered corners type penthouse louvers, blades are beveled and welded internally at the end. The top of the penthouses are covered with flat or pitched roofs of aluminium sheets. All of the four louver sides are removable type for easy maintenance purposes. Penthouse louvers can also be supplied as optional with galvanized bird or insect screens and / or aluminium washable air filters of 1”, 2”, or 4” thickness.
